Culzean Gardens - Westbury, Tasmania
Located in William St Westbury, Culzean Gardens (pronounced Cullane) has as its centepiece a 1.2 Ha man made lake which is the habitat for water fowl. The lake is surrounded by water irises. Mature exotic trees and conifers are the background to a changing display of spring bulbs, including daffodils, bluebells and wood anemones. There are also rhododendrons, azaleas, and hundreds of roses.
The house on the property is of Anglo-Indian design and was constructed in about 1841.
On 15 January 2006 these beautiful gardens were the venue for my eldest son's wedding.
The photos taken at the wedding were what convinced me that I needed to address the problem of my obesity.

You are doing such a wonderful job (ww-wise) and I'm so glad you contribute to the boards as much as you do - you inspire me to keep going, to not slip TOO much... LOL... and I'm very proud to "know" you.
Can't wait to see the next lot of pics go up!
